As the year comes to a close, I am honored to know that WINeD DOWN will be continuing into the New Year! It is with much gratitude and love from patrons and Cafe & Barr that we have been able to make this event such a success.
The simple structure allows yogis of all levels to partake in a condensed practice that offers tension release and sensory feedback, as well as fills that need for community by including a time for conversation with friends or family post practice.
It has brought me great joy to see friends, mother/daughter duos, husband and wives and more come out to share in a hour of body movement and social connection.
As we enter the new decade, I am excited to continue and grow this simple yet rewarding offering at Cafe and Barr. If you have yet to come, you will enjoy the environment of the local cafe setting, with its large space, delicious drinks and snacks and wide offerings of activities.
See you on the mat!
*First event of the New Year is January 14th @7:30 PM – Register HERE
October 8 was the kick of event of a beautiful collaboration between myself and the space (and owner, Jackie) of Cafe & Barr.
I was honored with the number of people who came out to share in a practice of “letting go.” October is a time of change and as the leaves transition in color and fall from the trees, we too are transitioning and shedding what no longer serves us. Our 30 minute yoga practice allowed up to begin the process of transformation and growth as we head into the new season.
Cafe & Barr is a perfect space for this collaboration as it has a large area for multiple yogis to practice, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, relaxing lighting and music and makes for an easy transition into a comfortable social setting with friends and locals.
I can’t wait to see what our November event has in store as we explore gratitude in preparation for the upcoming holiday.
Join me as we explore the wonders of the aerial silk.
